![]() This seems to be a major issue as I use my phone for work and can't log into the various accounts now as it is a two step verification. I honestly don't even know if a factory reset would work at this stage, since it does not show any notifications either (apart from: Phone restarted, Unlock your phone to get app notifications).ĭid anyone run into the same problem as I did and find a solution? I honestly don't want to try a factory reset (and I don't really think it's gonna work anyway since it's not showing any incoming notifications, either and I can't let my phone ring using Find My Phone). I also tried to unlock my phone using Find My Phone and it does not work as it is not connected to the network (I tried restarting it before and I guess that screwed me now). It says: "Use password after restart (before I restarted it said Use password to unlock screen), Your password contains at least 4 characters, including at least 1 letter." What password?! See, that's why I hate installing updates, this is just bull*****. I have no idea what password it wants from me, I only have so many and I tried all of them. All it does is lock the phone for 30 seconds before I can try entering another password once I've had too many tries. I have no idea why it asked me this, so I tried entering a variety of passwords. Today, literally out of nowhere, my phone asks me to enter a password. The only reason the dick customer got ANY repercussions was because one of the other customers, an old lady, complained about his behaviour.I have been using the lock screen pattern for a little over a year now and I always remembered it so it was no biggie. then just walked up the stairs and ignored it. swearing at me, calling me fucking stupid, saying it was fucking ridiculous that he'd had to wait two weeks (considering the average wait was three) and 'how fucking hard is it to get this right'. So after I ducked down to see if his stuff was in the collection of glasses waiting for a fitting-free pickup, I pop my head back up and say "I can't seem to find them bu-"īefore the "I can go and find them" had left my lips he was SCREAMING at me. Only his glasses were not on my front desk, despite what he had been told on the phone, and noone had told me that this man was coming to get them. The second biggest straw was when a man came in to collect his glasses from my front desk. And my manager wanted me to go anyway when most of our customers were pensioners "and we'll just get you a job that isnt on the front desk" ![]() ![]() One day, I woke up with all the symptoms of covid. But the last letter sends her to a sleepy town on a new mysterious adventure. I was the one on the front desk, the first face that people saw when they entered the building. You'd think knowing that lockdown was a thing would have made people more reasonable, but not at all. Naturally, due to the massive amounts of backlog, it was taking about three weeks for people to get their glasses. I worked at a specsavers once, not long after everyone had opened again from lockdown. I did refuse and haven't gone back to office work since. HR spent the next 2 weeks trying to make me withdraw the accusation, threatening me with alsorts if I refused. To make things worse I shared a car with my wife into the city, we both worked in the same area and lived over 50 miles from our jobs, her hours were very fixed so I would work around them and be at my desk an hour early but had to leave dead on time or my wife would be waiting, the new manager questioned my commitment as the only person not working late, he told me I was earning enough to buy a second car, I pointed out we actually owned 3 cars but I believed car sharing was better for the environment and improved my marriage as we had a couple of hours to talk every day, he really didn't like that.Īnyway he started giving me stupid time wasting tasks which I had no chance of completing in my normal work day so I ignored them, sure enough I was summoned to HR for a disciplinary, I stormed in and threw my resignation letter on the boardroom table in which I categorically stated I was being bullied and forced out of my job. Had worked for the same company for about 7 years, a new manager started who was clearly pushing staff out and replacing them with people from his previous employee.
